All because they looked her up on myspace and she had a pic of her at age 25 with a plastic cup to her mouth (the insinuation is that it was alcohol). They said they revoked her certificate because she was encouraging underage drinking. You never know! She is now 27 and working as a nanny for the moment. She's a single mom with two kids. It's a shame, but something you should think about as a professional. In fact, I am starting to substitute for Cobb County, and they encouraged us to not take even part in "teen-oriented sites" if we were subbing for MS or HS. HOWEVER, I personally love MySpace for the sole purpose that I am able to keep in touch with friends and family a whole lot easier and that is something I really do not want to give up. I have made my profile private and "unsearchable" by having a persona, if you will, instead of my real name on the account and also by not adding my "schools" or any other info. that can be linked to a search.
